- age of the au pair: 18-30 years
- working hours: 30 hours per week (child care and light housework)
- babysitting: 2 nights per week
- day off: at least 1 day per week (1 full weekend off per month)
- pocket money: at least 80 EUR per week
- paid holidays: at least 2 weeks during 12 months
- families pay for health and accident insurance
- board and lodging is ensured by the family (in case of illness, day offs and holidays as well)
