- age of the au pair: 18-30 years
- working hours: max. 30 hours per week (child care and light hourswork)
- babysitting: 2 nights per week
- day off: at least 2 days per week (1 full weekend off per month)
- pocket money: 300-340 EUR per month (depends on the experience of the au pair)
- paid holidays: at least 2 weeks during 12 months
- families pay for health and accident insurance
- board and lodging is ensured by the family (in case of illness, day offs and holidays as well)
- families pay for the cost of the language school (up to 320 EUR per year)
- families give a 10 EUR phone allowance per month
